Team
We are born and raised in Switzerland. Even though Switzerland is a beautiful country, we were thinking about emigrating for a while. In 2014 we started looking for a suitable place for our plan. We chose Scandinavia for its priceless privilege of untouched nature and peaceful way of life. We were especially impressed with Sweden’s untroubled wildlife.
From the beginning we fell in love with the house, the property, the little lake, the spacious meadow and the incomparable peaceful silence. We turned the idea of making a living out of this, into reality. Since March 2018 we started setting up our Malin Resort.
We would like to welcome our guests to our little, big paradise!

OUR ANIMAL PARTNERS
Pensioner Minai Narthan: Minai is a German riding pony and was born on June 18th, 2006 in northern Germany. She has an extremely loving nature and is a wonderful, irreplaceable pony! Due to illness, Minai is retired and enjoys her time here with us on the terrain with her friends.
Naja HRE: Naja is a Freiberger breed and was born on 17.04.2014 in Appenzell, Switzerland. She is a great partner, always enjoys a cuddle and is very connected to humans. Naja became part of our team in April 2018. Despite her young age, she is very sweet and motivated at work. She is an amazing horse all around!
Batman is a Korsningpony and was born in Sweden on 01.08.2017. He is the cheeky one and he takes care of the entertainment amongst the herd. Batman became part of the team in October 2018. Batman gets on very well with everyone and is always interested in participating or helping, especially filling up the hay :-)
Miallo Clair de Lune: Luna is a Connemarapony and was born in Sweden on 03.09.2018. This cute grey-white girl became part of the team in Mai 2022. For her young age she is a very loving, very interested little horse - we look forward to spending time with her.
Freyja is an Icelandic sheepdog and was born on 27.09.2019. She has been part of our family since November 2021. The little "fox" has a sunny, friendly nature. Playful and always facing people puts a smile on the face :-)

Grillkåta
You can have a barbeque break at our Kåta, which is equipped with comfortable seats for you to have unforgettable evenings around the fire. In the summer you have a nice view of the lake and if you are lucky you can see the dancing Northern Lights in winter.

Badtunna "Hot Pot"
In our Badtunna, Hot Pot, you will experience your deeply relaxed moments in the warm water. Whether summer or winter - it is always a pleasure to enjoy the agreeable warmth!

Sauna
In our sauna you will experience wonderfully soothing warmth in the beautiful winter of the north :-)
The sauna is heated to a maximum of 75 degrees.

The nearest airports are Arvidsjaur (53 km), Skellefteå (148 km) or Luleå (181 km).
VARIOUS INFORMATION
There are shopping facilities and grocery stores in Arvidsjaur (ca. 46 km) or Malå (ca. 47 km). In Abborrträsk (ca. 27 km) you find a small grocery stor.
The nearest medical center is located in Arvidsjaur (ca. 46 km).
